Hi,
I've had my YS640 for about a month now, and I've done a couple of small, short cooks (burn-in, bacon, etc). Today I had planned on smoking a tri-tip for 2-3 hours, but then the weather started to roll in. I started up the YS640 and the outside temperature was about 33 degrees F. The smoker got up to 225 (my set temperature), I put the meat on, and then it started to snow lightly. Ever since then, the temperature has dropped to about 135 on the panel of the YS640, and it constantly has the three "up" dashes. I do not have any type of thermal blanket, but assumed that I would still be able to smoke and just consume more pellets. Is there something wrong with my smoker? The outside temperature is now a brisk 22F, is it just too cold outside for the YS640 to get up to temperature? I really thought I would be able to use it all winter, but I'm really concerned about my purchase now.

This is our first winter with a portable basketball hoop. We have it setup on the edge of our driveway so it's nice and level and it's filled with water. In the summer, the water is a good option because it gives us the ability to drain/move it when we need to e.g. when we have our driveway sealed.A few weeks ago, I looked on Lifetime's website and it says that you can keep water in it all year. The manufacturers website says "Lifetime bases are made out of high-density polyethylene plastic that is flexible enough to expand with the water when it freezes." I'm surprised the manufacturer didn't hedge a little bit and tell people to drain it or use sand, just to be safe. Just curious what people did who used water? Drain it and tip it over? Use water and let it ride? Sounds like antifreeze is not the best option.

Hi,
So the Winter Gift Giveaway gives us M2 blueprints. Pretty good. Except I didn't get any on Android, the info popup appeared but not the actual gift. My inventory was full at the time, which shouldn't affect things, but might. On my secondary account (iOS) I got the blueprints just fine and they appeared in the gift box storage along with the rest of my unupened blueprints as expected. Restarting doesn't help, and I don't think there's anything else I can try. Anybody else encounter this?

Hi,
Despite being diagnosed quite late, I know that the last 3 years have proven that my symptoms are a lot worse in the winter than in the summer. That's not to say I don't have bad periods in the summer, just that most, if not all, of the time I am bad in winter.This will be the first winter that I will experience while actually being on B12 treatment, so it will be interesting (or scary) to see what happens.Also I've recently moved house so had the benefit of a 'better' back end of summer - will it help - dunno.Just wondered what other members' experiences were of seasonal changes?

Elke Winter's research research aims to understand the dynamics of unequal group relations, processes of ethnicization, and pluralist nation-building from a historical and comparative perspective. She is particularly interested in the ways in which (previously constructed) ethnic diversity is integrated normatively into discourses and policies of immigration and citizenship. Her new book Us, Them and Others (UTP 2011) examines the triangular relations between national majorities, established minorities, and immigration-related diversity in Canada and other Western societies. She is also affiliated with the University’s Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Citizenship and Minorities (CIRCEM), where she heads the thematic focus Migration, Pluralism and Citizenship. Hi there,
My family and I will be staying at a house a few miles away from the mountain. My kids will need lessons and ski rentals and my wife and i will need rentals as well. I've looked at winter parks web site and i cant tell which place on the mountain to rent from that offers ski valet and is next to ski school. I even called th 1 800 number but nobody picks up.
Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
